Um. My coworkers printed a poster of this and put it on my office wall. I think I’m going to leave it up for our company’s Open House on Thursday night. If anything, I should put this image on a button and wear it on my commute. It’ll give me Caltrain cred.

Jillian and Tony presented a case study about Vauban today to our Urban Design Case Studies Class. And here is a slide from their presentation. I’m famous?

White Castle wedding (thanks to AD)

And an Email of the Day:

“I just want to point out that for our Valentine’s Day date — which wasn’t even a date, so much as a PR stunt, because who doesn’t like being on TV? — I bought a nicer thrift-store jacket than that guy.

Still have that jacket, actually. The woman who picks out my clothes* tried to throw this away, and I kept it. Still fits.

* Yes, this is a real thing. No, it’s not my mother. Her name is Meaza, and she’s trying to get me to wear more textures this season. Textures are in. Now you know.” /jec

Great news. Grandpa Lou is producing things like movies and web series and such. Here is his latest project, Reception. I was a receptionist once at Optimus and I had to announce phone calls over the building loud speaker. I was really good at tranferring calls. Graham skipped this step. Instead of being a receptionist he was a librarian for the video library. He didn’t have to make announcements on the loud speaker. But I had better views. We both win?

See his new series, Reception, here.

Girl Talking

Saturday, February 5th, 2011

Last night we went to Girl Talk. We stood outside until Meg got a free ticket which took 5 minutes no joke. Then we went inside. Here we are.

Here we are.

Then we danced danced danced danced danced.

Bros love GT

Then we walked half way home but it was hard because there weren’t any sidewalks and streets without sidewalks makes planners the saddest. Here we are. Super sad planners wearing neon green fanny packs. But super happy because we saw Girl Talk. A lot of feelings at once.

Where are the sidewalks?

Ma Sweet is in the San Francisco surprising Uncle Paul for his birfday. Guess where she spent the morning?

North Beach! I told her to say hi to my friends Sidney, Rio, and Antonio. She and Aunt Daphne sent me internet phone photos.

Here are some cappuccinis.

And a Ma Sweet on the new Columbus Ave Parklet.
